May 30
Police received third-party report of a possible suicidal person on the 700 block of Cedar Street. Person was contacted and was OK.
A green bicycle was found on the zero hundred block of Sixth Street.
A violation of a court order was reported on the 100 block of North Fourth Street.
Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 800 block of West First Street. Windows were broken on a trailer.
Second-degree theft was reported on the 200 block of Buena Vista Street. A boat motor was taken.
Possible violation of a no-contact order (NCO) was reported on the 3400 block of Normal Park Road.
May 31
Police assisted the Spokane Police Department with a probable cause arrest. Cheney officers located and arrested Corey N. Allen, 26, for second-degree assault.
Dylan J. Douthitt, 24, was arrested on the zero hundred block of Huron Street for violation of a court order.
A civil dispute over ownership of property on the 100 block of Washington Street was reported at the Police Department.
June 1
Attempted suicide was reported on the 500 block of Second Street.
Financial fraud was reported on the 500 block of First Street. The credit union became aware of the incident and was advising the victim who lived in Minnesota.
A bicycle was found on the 1500 block of Salnave Road.
Mental health issue was reported on the 700 block of Betz Road. Involuntary committal.
June 2
Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 1000 block of Betz Road.
Trent P. Loughnane, 20, was arrested on the 300 block of North Seventh Street for hit and run and driving under the influence.
A missing person was reported on the 300 block of First Street. The person returned home.
A cellphone was found on the 200 block of Betz Road.
Third-degree theft was reported on the 1200 block of Betz Road. A bicycle was taken.
Ahmad D. Jones, 22, was arrested for third-degree driving while license suspended (DWLS) on the 1000 block of Mike McKeehan Way.
June 3
Mental health issue was reported on the 600 block of Second Street. Involuntary committal.
Mental health issue was reported on the 1000 block of Betz Road. Voluntary committal.
Steven J. Baum, 34, was arrested for harassment/domestic violence on the 2400 block of University Lane.
Jeffrey W. Pontier, 49, was arrested on the 300 block of North Second Street on a Spokane Municipal Court warrant for assault/domestic violence.
June 4
Adam W. Papini, 45, was arrested on the 1700 block of First Street for DUI.
Mental health issue was reported on the 800 block of West First Street. Involuntary committal.

Taking motor vehicle without owner’s permission was reported on the 700 block of East Fellows Street. Officers later recovered the vehicle and arrested Nicholas R. Robertson, 22, for taking motor vehicle without owner’s permission and second-degree assault/domestic violence. At the scene, Shari N. Same, 26, was arrested on a Department of Corrections Escape from Community Custody warrant and taken to Spokane County Jail. Officers searched Same and found heroin. She was charged with possession of a controlled substance/heroin.
June 4
A juvenile runaway was reported on the 1000 block of East Prentis Street. The juvenile returned home that day.

May 24
A suspicious vehicle was reported at Highway 2 and Hayford Road.
Theft was reported on the 1300 block of South Ziegler Street.
