Attention all college students: The Episcopal, Lutheran and Methodist Campus Ministry meets every Monday at 5 p.m. for dinner, study and worship. Please join us. For more information contact Soule at 844-2553.

Choir practice is every Thursday at 5 p.m. Come sing with us. Alcoholics Anonymous meets every Saturday at 11:30 a.m. in the parish hall.

For your contemplation: “I mourn the loss of thousands of precious lives, but I will not rejoice in the death of one, not even an enemy. Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that,” – Martin Luther King, Jr.

United Methodist Church

There is Sunday morning worship every week at the United Methodist Church. Pastors Alissa Bertsch Johnson and Pat Sleeth will begin a new sermon series, “Lives on Fire: The Holy Spirit in our Midst.” Each Sunday’s service will include an interview with someone from the congregation to see how the Holy Spirit has worked in their life. Kayla Willms, peer student minister and soon to be EWU graduate, will be interviewed for the June 11 service. High school and college graduates will be recognized and new members received into the congregation on this day of new beginnings.

Join us for a time of fellowship after the worship service as we celebrate our grads and our new members.

For additional information on study groups and other church events please call the office at 235-4600.
