CHENEY
May 15
A hit and run unattended collision was reported on the 800 block of Elm Street. Collision took place May 12.
Second-degree theft was reported on the 400 block of First Street. A purse and contents were taken.
A mental health issue was reported on the 2400 block of University Lane. Subject was involuntarily committed.
May 16
An attempted suicide was reported on the 2300 block of University Lane. Subject was involuntarily committed.
Police assisted the Airway Heights Police Department on an investigation at Cheney High School.
Lena R. Boyce, 28, was arrested on the 2400 block of University Lane for first-degree assault/domestic violence.
May 17
A mental health issue was reported on the 2200 block of First Street. Subject was involuntarily committed.
Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the zero hundred block of Washington Court.
Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 200 block of North Eleventh Street.
May 19
A 17-year-old male was arrested for a fourth-degree assault incident reported on May 12 on the 2600 block of First Street.
Residential burglary was reported on the 700 block of Egret Lane. Materials were taken from a construction site.
Possible theft or a misplaced item was reported on the 2300 block of Lilac Street.
Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 1700 block of Seventh Street. Damage to a park restroom.
A female was arrested on the zero hundred block of Third Street on a escape warrant from the state Department of Corrections. When the suspect was transported to Spokane County Jail, jail staff declined to book her due to the jail being on critical status because of high occupancy. Arrest occurred on the weekend and DOC warrant arrests are only booked on weekdays. Suspect was subsequently released.
May 20
Anthony L. Kelley, 19, was arrested on the 900 block of First Street on Spokane warrant for obstructing. He was also arrested on second-degree assault charges after officers discovered he was a suspect in that case.
A rape occurred on the 100 block of West Sixth Street.
Brielle D. Rasmussen, 22, was arrested on the 700 block of Seventh Street for third-degree malicious mischief/domestic violence.
Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 2700 block of Oxford Lane.
May 21
A purple bicycle was found on the 200 block of West Fifth Street.
A bicycle was found on the zero hundred block of First Street.
Third-degree theft was reported on the 400 block of North Second Street. Items were taken from a vehicle.
A wallet was found on the 1200 block of First Street.

Physical abuse was reported on the 500 block of East Grace Street.
Harassment was reported on the 300 block of North Lefevre Street.
May 17
Physical abuse was reported on the 500 block of East Grace Street.
May 18
A threat was reported on the 500 block of North Staples Street.
Reckless driving was reported at Stanley Street and East State Route 902.
May 19
Assault was reported on the 800 block of West Maple Street.
May 20
A juvenile runaway was reported on the 1000 block of North Prentis Street. The juvenile has not returned home.
A two-vehicle collision with damages was reported at East State Route 902 and North Graham Lane.

A suicidal subject was reported on the 100 block of South Hallett Street.
