Cheney releases summer food program schedule

The Cheney School District No. 360 announces sponsorship of the Simplified Summer Food Program for Children. Meals will be made available at no charge to attending children 18 years of age and younger.

Meals will be served at the following locations, dates and times:

Cheney High School, 460 North Sixth St., June 27 – July 28. Breakfast is from 8-8:15 a.m., lunch 11:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. Site supervisor is Rita Whitaker (509) 559-4101.

Cheney Middle School, 740 Betz Road, June 26 – July 21. Breakfast is from 8 – 8:15 a.m., lunch 11:30 a.m. – noon. Site supervisor is Christine Bell, (509) 559-4424.

Sunset Elementary, 2824 West 12th Ave., Airway Heights, June 26 – July 21. Breakfast is from 8 – 8:15 a.m., lunch 11:30 a.m. – noon. Site supervisor is Kelli Lane, (509) 559-4603.

Westwood Middle School, 6120 South Abbott Road, June 26 – July 21. Breakfast is from 7:30 – 8:30 a.m., with lunch from 11:30 a.m. – noon. Site supervisor is Rita Whitaker (509) 559-4104 or (509) 559-4140.

Betz Elementary, 317 North Seventh St., Cheney, June 26 – July 21. Breakfast is from 7:30 – 8:30 a.m., with lunch from 11:30 – 11:45 a.m. Site supervisor is Rita Whitaker (509) 559-4140.

Meals are served Monday – Friday except July 3-4 when no meals will be served.
