Judith Ann "Judy" Koskinen

Judith Ann "Judy" Koskinen, 76, assed away May 12, 2017 in Spokane, Wash. Judy was the first child born to Jack and Ann Ray in Denver, Colo. on July 1, 1940.

Judy lived in Medical Lake for many years and worked at Interlake School and Lakeland Village.

In her retirement she continued to give back to the community, primarily through the Medical Lake Care and Share. She enjoyed doing cross stitch, crafts and crossword puzzles.

But she found her greatest joy in raising her children and bragging about her grandchildren.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her siblings: Jim, Jack (Mary) and Jan Ray; her children: Kenny Nystrom, Kathy (Ernie) Vela, Sam (Cathy) Nystrom and Kristi (Vilho) Tuomala; grandchildren: Sara Nystrom, Cody Vela, Katlin, Hayley and Nick Nystrom, Jessica and Cassidy Tuomala, as well as special friends Ruthanne Prahl and Pat Hoffman.
