The city of Airway Heights Garfield Road/Sixth Avenue reconstruction project took center stage at the May 15 City Council meeting.
Council awarded the bid for the project to DW Excavating, Inc. out of Davenport, Wash. Century West, the city's engineer of record and consultants for the project, reviewed the four bids that came in and they recommended the company's proposal for $1.548 million.
