CHENEY
May 2
An individual made a report at the Cheney Police Department that a possible fake profile had been set up on a social media website.
A 15-year-old male was arrested for third-degree theft on the 400 block of North Sixth Street. Possible additional charges are pending.
Joshua M. Smith, 26, was arrested on the 100 block of West First Street for third-degree theft/shoplifting.
Possible drug activity was reported on the 400 block of North Sixth Street.
May 3
A 16-year-old male was arrested on the 400 block of North Sixth Street for making false and misleading statements to a police officer.
A 14-year-old male was arrested as a runaway juvenile on the 400 block of North Sixth Street.
Suspicious circumstances were reported on the 1400 block of Second Street. As a male was unlocking the front door of his residence, he received a call on his cellphone. Leaving the keys in the front door lock, he stepped around the corner to take the call, and when done, he returned to the front door to find his keys had been taken from the lock and were missing. Keys were eventually located inside his locked vehicle.
Domestic violence/second-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 400 block of Leinum Court. Damage was done to a vehicle.
May 4
A 1999 Monte Carlo was impounded on the 100 block of Alki Street.
Financial fraud was reported on the 800 block of Fourth Street. Incident appeared to be a magazine scam.
Theft of a motor vehicle was reported on the 200 block of Betz Road. Incident was determined to be unfounded as the individual forgot where he parked his car.
Second-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 400 block of North Third. Damage to a car.
May 6
Residential burglary was reported on the 1100 block of Salnave Road. Tools and computer equipment were taken.
Sudden death was reported on the 3100 block of Thistle Creek Lane.
Second-degree theft was reported on the 1100 block of Oakland Street. A bicycle was taken.
Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 500 block of Clay Street.
Second-degree burglary was reported on the 1100 block of Oakland Street. Tools were taken.
May 7
Barbara A. Glass, 58, was arrested on the 1100 block of First Street on a Spokane County District Court warrant for third-degree theft. She had also been reported as a missing/endangered person out of Spokane.
Mental health issue was reported on the zero hundred block of West Second Street. Voluntary commitment.
Third-degree theft was reported on the 2700 block of First Street.
Zachary T. Southwick, 24, was arrested on the 2700 block of First Street for possession of a controlled substance and four warrants from various agencies.

An accident with damages was reported at East State Route 902 and North Stanley Street.
A sex crime was reported on the 800 block of East Tara Lee Avenue.
Assault was reported on the 100 block of West Second Street.
