CHS baseball sweeps Pullman in doubleheader

After a regular season of ups and downs, the Cheney High baseball team has found new life as they head into the postseason.

Following their 4-3 loss to Clarkston on April 26, the Blackhawks (4-8 Great Northern League, 9-11), fifth in the league standings, finished regular season play by sweeping third-place Pullman (5-6, 5-7) in an April 28 doubleheader on Senior Day, winning 5-4 in game one and 8-2 in the nightcap.
