Brandon Montgomery, a backup Eastern Washington cornerback returned an interception 67 yards for a touchdown and had a 47-yard fumble return to set up another score and spark the Red to a 24-17 victory over the White in last Saturday's Red-White Game at Roos Field. The game concluded four weeks of spring practices for the Eagle football team. For his efforts, Montgomery, a red shirt junior from Tacoma, was named the initial winner of the "Golden Eagle" as the game's MVP. "We got what we wanted," new Eagle head coach Aaron Best said. "We wanted it to look like a game, and I thought it was a game."
