It was another short week for the Cheney High boys tennis team, who lost 4-3 to East Valley in a Great Northern League match, April 20.
Aaron Fillmore, No. 2 singles, defeated Josh Fraser (6-1, 6-1) to snap a two-match losing streak. No. 3 Eric Van Wig continued his winning streak after he swept Luke Pineyard (6-0, 6-0).
"Aaron really frustrated his opponent," head coach Jesse Erickson said of Fillmore's performance. "He played consistent, aggressive and hit some good returns."
