Robert E. Anderson

Robert passed away on April 3, 2017. Bob was born Nov. 13, 1937 on Mullinix Road in Cheney to Cecil E. Anderson and Katherine Lund.

After graduating from Cheney High School, Bob worked at various jobs including Stoddard Wendle Ford in Spokane, the Union 76 Station in Cheney and Western Refuse in Cheney. Bob also had hay farms in both Warden and Lind, Wash. He spent his final working years raising beef cattle with his mother between their two farms in Cheney. Bob retired to his farm in Cheney and spent time working on his cabin on the Yaak River in Montana.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his current wife, LuAnn Newberg Anderson; sisters Sharon Corbit and Joan Dickerson; his children from his first marriage, Lisa Graese (Kevin), Vic Anderson, Tina Teel and Cecil Anderson; his grandchildren Pamela and Ethan Graese, Jake and Raeann Anderson, Chance and Layne Teel as well as Chad and Victoria Anderson, plus one great-granddaughter, Halle Anderson.

There will be no service at Bob's request. The family wishes to thank Brookdale Nine Mile for the compassionate care delivered by the staff, as well as Hospice of Spokane's assistance during Bob's last days.
