Medical Lake's head track coach Gene Blankenship got what he expected and wanted from his team last week.
Splitting squads to compete on a couple of big stages, the Pasco Invitational, and the Van Kuren Invitational at Cheney High School, the results produced solid finishes.
"Obviously Lexi (Rolan) had the best day, she finished second in the 100 (meters) and second in the 200 (meters) overall," Blankenship said when talking about his senior sprinter.
