Cheney’s boys’ and girls’ track teams had little difficulty at their second Great Northern League meet March 29 against visiting Clarkston. The Blackhawk boys breezed to a 101-44 win over the Bantams while the girls moved their GNL record to 2-0 with a 100-49 win.
Cheney’s boys captured first in 13 of the 17 events, and occupied two of the top three slots in 16 events. The girls nabbed first in 11 events, and had two in the top three in all 18 events. Both teams earned top-three finishes in several competitions.
