The Cheney High baseball team picked up their first Great Northern League win against East Valley, 7-5, March 31. Down 2-0, the Blackhawks scored in the second inning, then posted two runs in the third on Devin Cook's two-RBI double and three runs in the fourth. The Knights cut the gap to 5-4 after Colin Spendlove's two-run home run, but Cheney boosted its lead with two runs in the fifth inning.
