Fairchild Air Force Base 75th

Fairchild Air Force Base celebrated its 75th anniversary with ceremonies March 1.

Besides guest speakers, cake and punch, the celebration featured a number of static displays telling the story of the base's and the U.S. Air Force's history. Those displays featured many items such as former uniforms, awards and various pieces of military hardware.

The 36th Rescue Squadron was on hand, and representatives from the survival school also brought in items for public viewing.
