Brother Geisel, er Seuss

Eastern Washington University student and Sigma Phi Epsilon member Nate Delo reads a Dr. Seuss book to Betz Elementary School students in Traci Trotter's first-grade class last Thursday to celebrate the birthday of the famed children's books author.

Born Theodore Geisel, Seuss joined Sigma Phi as a student at Dartmouth University in 1925. EWU Sigma Phi member Chaz Martinez, who was also reading at Betz, said the fraternity honors his birthday each year by going to schools and reading his books.

"Once a brother, always a brother," Martinez added.
