Holy and Volz to hold district town hall meeting
On Saturday, March 11, Rep. Jeff Holy and Rep. Mike Volz are hosting a town hall meeting to discuss bills and issues before the state Legislature. The meeting begins at 2 p.m., and will be held at the Northwest Museum of Art and Culture (MAC), Eric A. Johnson Auditorium 2316 W. First Ave. in Spokane.
The forum is open to the public, and people residing in the 6th Legislative District are encouraged to bring their questions and ideas concerning state government.
Pints for puppies, growlers for howlers fundraiser
An evening of beer and raffles with portions of proceeds to benefit the Rescue 4 All animal rescue organization takes place Thursday, March 9 from 6-9 p.m. at the Steady Flow Growler House, 328 N. Sullivan, Suite 8 in Spokane Valley.
The event will feature beer to go in growlers as well as bidding in an auction for a variety of gift baskets.
