Weston Thomas, wrestling at 113 pounds, earned an eighth place finish at the Mat Classic XXIX state tournament held in the Tacoma Dome last weekend.
Thomas, who went to the event in 2016 as an alternate and did not compete, won a pair of matches the first day. No additional event details were provided.
Senior Braden Wirth went 1-2 in his matches and did not place.
