Will play at Cheney Saturday versus La Salle in 6 p.m. game

Medical Lake's head girls' basketball coach Kyle Lundberg got a memorable, and perhaps unexpected Valentines Day gift last Tuesday.
It came wrapped up in Michaela Peterson's winning basket in the final two seconds in a 32-30 win over Lakeside at West Valley High School.
The bucket helped deliver a district title to the Cardinals - and a game close to home Saturday at 6 p.m. versus La Salle High School at Cheney High in the 1A state round of 16.
