On Jan. 16, arguably the most successful football coach in Eastern Washington University school history, Beau Baldwin, announced he was leaving Cheney having been hired at the University of California-Berkeley as the Bears' offensive coordinator.
On Feb. 17 Baldwin and his family, wife Nicole and daughters Mia and Macie were honored at the EWU men's basketball game with Idaho.
