Feb. 15

Rape was reported on the 200 block of South Cheney-Spangle Road.

Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 200 block of West Second Street.

Third-degree theft was reported on the 800 block of West First Street. A 24-foot aluminum ladder was taken.

Mental health issues were reported to the Cheney Police Department. Report was for documentation only.

A vehicle was impounded on the 2900 block of Normal Park Road.

A vehicle was impounded on the 800 block of Washington Street.

A vehicle was impounded on the 200 block of North Eleventh Street.

Devan M. Gagon, 19, was arrested for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence at Cheney Municipal Court.

Frankie C. Embrey, 21, was arrested for third-degree theft on the 100 block of West First Street.

Feb. 17

A vehicle was impounded on the 200 block of North Third Street.

Mental health issues were reported on the 300 block of Plum Tree Court. The individual was involuntarily committed.

Timothy D. Barfkecht, 24, was arrested for driving while license suspended (DWLS) on the 1500 block of Washington Street.

Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 100 block of College Avenue.

Feb. 18

Theft of a firearm was reported on the 2300 block of University Lane.

Feb. 21

Domestic violence was reported on the 2400 block of University Lane. An assault case is pending.

A 14-year-old male was arrested as a runaway on the 2700 block of First Street.

Officers conducted a welfare check at East Herb and South Hallett streets.

Feb. 10

Glenn F. Gallup, 29, was arrested on the 500 block of North Lefevre Street for third-degree malicious mischief/domestic violence.

Feb. 11

Theft was reported on the 800 block of North Minnie Street. A license plate was taken from a vehicle.

Feb. 12

Harassment was reported on the 800 block of North Maple Street.

Juvenile runaway was reported on the 1000 block of North Prentis Street. The juvenile returned home later that day.

Third-degree malicious mischief/domestic violence was reported on the 300 block of East Fellows Street.

Physical abuse was reported on the 100 block of South Hallett Street.

Theft was reported on the 500 block of North Martin Street. A gas cap was taken from a vehicle

Reckless driving was reported at East State Route 902 and North Stanley Street.

Feb. 15

Fraud was reported on the 300 block of East Beverly Avenue.

Glenn F. Gallup, 29, was arrested on the 400 block of East Beverly Avenue for a domestic violence protection order violation.

Feb. 16

Assault was reported on the 100 block of South Hallett Street.

Suspicious circumstances were reported on the 500 block of South Pineview Drive.

Feb. 17

Custodial interference was reported on the 1000 block of North Prentis Street.
