The Cheney High wrestling team added several more bright spots to the beginning of their season last week, including a fourth-place finish at the Dec. 10 West Valley Wrestle-Rama dual tournament.
The Blackhawks wrestled five dual meets in one day, defeating Lakeside (42-39) and Gonzaga Prep (75-0), tying with Ephrata (42-42) and losing to Idaho's Lake City (51-27) and Timberlake (42-39).
"It was good for us to get that much mat time," head coach Brad Rasmussen said. "We had some good quality matches."
