Last weekend to catch performances of StageWest's Old Time Radio Theatre

StageWest Community Theatre has a winner in its Old Time Radio Theatre production of "The Littlest Angel" adapted by Judy Gross from the book by Charles Tazewell, and "The Gift of the Magi" also adapted by Gross from the short story by O'Henry.

Gross, in her first effort at directing, has brought together an amazing cast of performers for this production, StageWest's publicity director, Nancy Kuonen, said in a news release. Johnny Spracklen, in his first ever role, brings to life the boy who becomes "The Littlest Angel." Both Audria and Alison Sears add flavor to the cast.

The talents of pianist Jody Sears and the music both she and Gross have picked out enhance the listening experience of the audience. The addition of the live sound effects by A. J. and Sierra Burton take the audience back in time to live radio theater.

Kuonen said in the release that "this production is one that should not be missed, especially at this time of year." There are just three more performances of this production, Friday, Dec.9, at 7 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 11, at 3 p.m. and a special dinner theater Saturday Dec. 10 at 6 p.m.

Dinner theater is by reservations only and reservations can be made until 5 p.m. on Friday Dec. 9, space is limited. Dinner is being catered by Mike Hartman and is prime rib, baked potato, salad, vegetables, roll, and angel food cake.

Ticket prices for performances are adults $12, seniors $10 and students with valid school ID $5. Dinner theater tickets are $30 per person. For reservations contact Nancy Kuonen at (509) 768-4792 and for more performance information, contact Gross at (509) 299-2649.
