LOOKING BACK WITH THE CHENEY HISTORICAL MUSEUM

Twenty-five years ago in 1991, after 42 days without rain, and with 50 mph winds, a power line went down sparking a brush fire. Over 1,200 acres and four homes were destroyed near the town of Marshall, 6,250 acres and a house burned near Salnave Road, and 700 acres were lost near Jennings Road.
