Gubrud, Hill are honored with awards
Rewriting history at every turn, sophomore quarterback Gage Gubrud has been selected as the Big Sky Conference Offensive Player of the Week after helping guide the fourth-ranked Eastern Washington University football team to a 49-31 victory over Northern Colorado Oct. 8.
Shaq Hill, the target of four of Gubrud’s touchdown passes, earned Big Sky Conference Player of the Week honors from College Sports Madness. The four TDs tied an EWU school record.
