Medical Lake was handed its fourth consecutive shutout loss getting blasted by Colville 62-0 last Friday, Oct. 7 night in a Northeast A League football game in Colville. It was the sixth loss in as many games this season for the Cardinals.
Medical Lake (0-4 NEA, 0-6 overall) was held to a minus 2 yards of total offense and just one first down.
“We didn’t play with any emotion or effort,” head coach Mo Owen said. “We just need to learn what it takes to compete.”
After a slow start with one win in their first three games, Colville (3-1 NEA, 4-2 overall) had a 20-0 lead after the first quarter and went to the locker room at halftime with a 41-0 lead. The Indians had 432 total yards and got a two-touchdown performance from Grant Michaliszyn.
Next up is Deer Park, (4-0, 5-1) Friday at Holliday Field at 7 p.m.
