CMA cancels Oct. 7 Homecoming event

A social event aimed at parents visiting this weekend for Homecoming at Eastern Washington University has been cancelled by the sponsoring Cheney Merchants Association.

A reception that had been scheduled for Friday, Oct. 7 from 6–8 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Express’s new banquet and meeting facility that would have helped introduce CMA member businesses will not happen this year. The announcement came at the Oct. 3 CMA meeting.

Because of some delays promoting the night, CMA leadership decided to put it off for a year.
