Medical Lake council approves ambulance services contract

The Medical Lake City Council breezed through a quick Sept. 20 meeting that featured a light agenda.

In action items, council approved an extension of countywide service contract with American Medical Response for 911 ambulance ground transport services. The agreement is good until June 30, 2020.

Council also held the first reading of ordinance 1049, which is a franchise agreement between Avista and the city for the distribution and sale of gas for 25 years.
