Aug. 29
Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 2700 block of First Street. A car was keyed.
Aug. 30
Police responded to reports of a car prowler in the 200 block of Simpson Parkway. A suspect was confronted and he then ran into nearby woods where he was eventually apprehended. Police arrested Samuel A. Clopton, 35, for second-degree theft.
Suspicious circumstances were reported on the 1000 block of Betz Road. A man called and reported that $2,460 had been deposited into his checking account from an unknown source.
