I would like to thank the Free Press for its honest and fair review of Ian Field’s candidacy for the 6th District seat.
Field is the most knowledgeable and best prepared of all the 6th District candidates. He is the only one running who has known and talked with the past FAFB COs about the problems getting the new Tanker stationed at FAFB, has discussed the problems that active duty military face daily.
A recent college graduates, Ian fully understand the frustrations of the EWU students at the rising costs of a college education.
Field has already networked over the past five years with all the State Representatives in Eastern Washington about the common problems all the counties are facing and what can be done for all citizens of the area.
The business owners, both large and Mom and Pop, on the West Plains have met him and are trying to figure out how they can keep their businesses going and the doors open with all the wage and L&I changes that are going to be forced on them and still offer jobs to the 1,000s on the West Plains who depend on them. Field was present at several of these meetings and will carry their worries to the State House with him.
Kevin Parker who is now the 6th District Representative thinks Field is the the best person to replace him. I agree.
Field will work for all of us on the West Plains—even the Democrats in Cheney if they will try to work with him.
