The Highline Grain transloader facility peeks out from behind bellowing smoke from a small brush fire last Wednesday, July 13 just off Interstate 90 at the Cheney-Four Lakes interchange. Fire crews from nearby Spokane County Fire District 3 Station 33 on Melville Road responded within just a few minutes and quickly had the blaze under control.
