West Plains' softball team outscores finals opponents 27-0 to capture Selah Summer Warm-up title

After dropping their opener, the West Plains Bandits 16/18U softball team rattled off four straight wins to claim the Silver Division title at the Selah Summer Warm-up Tourney, June 18-19 in Selah, Wash. It was the team's first tournament of the season.
The Bandits trailed 11-2 through the first five innings of their opener with the NCW Sun Devils before their bats finally came alive in the bottom of the sixth. West Plains scored five runs, two on a Maddie Kallsen home run, to cut the margin to 11-7 before the Sun Devils recorded the final out.
