Cards suffer crushing tournament loss

Medical Lake may try its best to lobby with the Washington State Interscholastic Activities Association — surely in vain — to move all future state tournaments out of Yakima.

The city has been a house of horrors and deep disappointment for Cardinal teams in 2016, the most recent coming last Saturday in a 3-2, nine-inning loss to the Hoquiam Grizzlies in the opening round of the 1A state tournament at Davis High School.
