StageWest Community Theatre enjoys success with 'Getting Sara Married'

Letters to the Editor

StageWest Community Theatre wrapped up its 2015-2016 season this last weekend with the last three performances of “Getting Sara Married” by Sam Bobrick and directed by Chris Booth.

The weekend performances had full audiences and were well received. Sunday’s Mother’s Day High Tea was a success and we would like to thank Lori Musgrave and The Marketplace Eatery & Bakery for the good food.

We would also like to thank our cast, crew and volunteers who at each performance set up the stage, performed, took down the stage, did lights and sound, took tickets and all the other jobs that are involved with putting on live theater. StageWest would particularly like to give a very heartfelt and gracious thank you to the members of Emmanuel Lutheran Church for the continued use of their building for our auditions, rehearsals, performances and meetings held there.

We have truly been blessed by their generosity. Our biggest thanks go to our audience members that come to our performances and the people and businesses in the West Plains area that have supported us this past year.

Keep your eye out in the Cheney Free Press for information about next year’s productions that will be announced soon. Thank you again for all your support of StageWest Community Theatre, Inc.

Nancy Kuonen,
