Books2Eat returns to JFK Library, May 16
Eastern Washington University Libraries will once again host Books2Eat at the JFK Library, Monday, May 16 at 1 p.m.
Students, faculty, staff and the community are invited to create an edible treat — one not needing refrigeration — with a literary theme.
Everyone is invited to view the entries, vote on their favorites and then help consume the creations.
West Plains students to graduate from Whitman College
Three West Plains students will receive bachelor of arts degrees from Whitman College during a May 22 commencement ceremony. Students are listed by their names and majors.

Eastern Washington senior art exhibition
Eastern Washington University’s Art Department will host its 2016 BFA Senior Exhibition in the Gallery of Art, May 27 – June 9. There will be an opening reception Friday, May 27 from 6-8 p.m.
The exhibition includes the work of six bachelor of fine arts candidates in various media and styles.
