Bruce Lowell Williams, 61, of Cheney, passed away Feb. 13, 2016 after a year-long battle with end-stage renal failure.
Born June 4, 1954 in Kennewick, Wash. to James and Naomi (Griffith) Williams, Bruce resided in the Tri-Cities until 2002 when he relocated to Badger Lake in Cheney. Bruce was preceded in death by both parents.
He is survived by his companion, Lynn Cousineau, his two children, Brandy Grogan and Bruce Williams II, nine grandchildren and five siblings: Jerry Williams, Jordan Williams, Lisa Kjolseth, Danette Williams and Jamie Williams.
Bruce loved people and the outdoors. He had many friends and acquaintances at Badger and Williams lakes in Cheney, as well as the Tri-Cities. Touring the woods in his Rhino, fishing, gardening, fixing small engines in his shop and dinner at Xanny's Restaurant (in Williams Lake) were a few of his favorite hobbies.
A celebration of Bruce's life will take place May 14 at Bunker's Resort, 36402 S. Bunkers Landing Road in Cheney, at 2 p.m.
