Emmanuel Lutheran Church

The congregation of Emmanuel Lutheran Church invites you to worship with us at 10:30 a.m. this Sunday, April 24. You may also watch our pastor’s sermons at our website http://www.emmanuelcheney.org or on YouTube at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Cheney. Christian education begins at 9 a.m.

United Church of Christ

Services will be held on Sunday, April 24, at 10 a.m. You are cordially invited to join us. Pastor David Krueger-Duncan will present the message and special music will be provided by baritone, Brian Rebar. A coffee hour will follow in the church fellowship hall. Please join us for services and allow us to get to know you at the coffee hour.

There will be no choir practice tonight, April 21. Church office hours are generally Tuesday 4 – 6 p.m., Wednesday 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. and Thursday 4 – 7 p.m. and 8 – 9 p.m. Call the church office at 235-4193 for information. Messages may be left if no one is in the office when you call. Prior to our services on Sunday, the men’s breakfast group will meet at Marketplace Cheney on April 24 at 7:45 a.m.

Everyone is welcome at all services and activities at Cheney United Church of Christ. We look forward to greeting you at an event soon.

United Methodist Church

Please join us at the United Methodist Church. Sunday morning worship is at 10 a.m. and will be led by pastor Alissa Bertsch Johnson and associate pastor Pat Sleeth. All are welcome and childcare is available. Preceding worship there are Sunday school classes at 9 a.m. including a grief support group based on the book “A Grace Disguised.”

Immediately following worship, during fellowship time, you will have the opportunity to make a prayer lantern to send to our church’s general conference in May. The lanterns will be lit for a prayer vigil on climate change at the conference.
