A record-breaking performance — the seventh-best in league history — by Eastern Washington University’s Kaytlyn Coleman has earned the Big Sky Conference Track and Field Athlete of the Week honor, the league office announced April 11.
It was her sixth such award from the league.
Coleman broke the school and meet records in the hammer throw at last week’s Pelluer Invitational at Roos Field. She had a personal best by more five feet with an effort of 200-feet, 1-inch on her second-to-last throw of the day in the hammer.
