Cheney blood drive April 29

Inland Northwest Blood Center along with the Cheney Community Blood Drive volunteers will be coordinating a blood drive Friday, April 29, at Marketplace Cheney, 1011 First St. Donation hours are from 1:15 – 5 p.m.

INBC needs an average of 200 blood donors every day to meet the needs of more than 35 hospitals in the Inland Northwest. A single donation can save the lives of up to three people.

Inclusive Theater presents ‘Beauty and the Beast’

The Cheney Parks and Recreation Specialized Recreation Shining Stars Inclusive Theater will be producing “Beauty and the Beast” at Westwood Middle School, 6120 S. Abbott Road on Friday April 22 at 7 p.m., Saturday April 23 at 6 p.m. and Sunday April 24 at 2 p.m. Tickets can be purchased through Cheney Parks and Recreation at (509) 498-9250.
