Four injured in three-car collision on SR 902

Four people were taken to Sacred Heart Medical Center with injuries they sustained in a three-car collision Saturday, April 2 at the intersection of State Route 902 and Craig Road.

According to the Washington State Patrol collision memo, at approximately 4:44 p.m. a silver 2013 Hyundai Elantra driven by Jordan M. Perry, 23, of Cheney, was southbound on Craig Road and ran the stop sign at the intersection. Perry’s vehicle struck two other vehicles eastbound on SR 902: a white 2003 Ford Explorer driven by Lindsey B. Kelley, 16, of Medical Lake and a red 2000 Dodge Dakota driven by Armando M. Garza, 45, of Spokane.

Garza’s vehicle left the roadway to the south and rolled. He and his passenger, Jasper R.J. Garza, 16, were both injured and taken to Sacred Heart.

Perry and his passenger in the Elantra, Roseann Perry, 21, were also both injured and taken to Sacred Heart. Neither Kelley nor her passenger in the Explorer, Dawson G. Lack, 18, of Medical Lake, were injured.

The State Patrol cited failure to yield as the cause of the collision. Charges were pending at press time.
