While the Cheney High girls’ tennis team is building from their momentum from last year’s season, they’ll start off with several new faces in their varsity lineup.
The team is coming off a strong 2015 where they finished second in the Great Northern League with a 6-2 league record and 10-4 overall. They lost seven seniors to graduation, including state-qualifier Katelynn Smedley
But Cheney girls’ tennis head coach Jason Overland, doesn’t see this year as much of a rebuilding season.
