Cheney swim team picks up wins over Grandview, Prosser

For Cheney High boys swim coach Jennifer Hochwalt, the experiment of having swimmers compete in different events that they are used to paid off as the team picked up wins against Prosser, 132-20, and Grandview, 116-42, Jan. 19.

Trevor Babcock qualified for state in the 200-yard individual medley after winning the event in 2 minutes and 11.36 seconds. Ethan Sugimura (2:32.03) finished second in the event while Cole Ross took third (2:44.73).
