The Cheney High gymnastics team finished fifth with 129.35 points at its last regular 3A Greater Spokane League meet, Jan. 20.
According to head coach Jaelyn Gardner, Cheney was competing against both 3A and 4A schools in what was an “intense environment.” Alexis Miller was the only Cheney gymnast to finish in the top 10 of any event. She took fifth in the uneven bars with 8.475.
Cheney traveled to Mead one more time this season for the 3A district championships, Jan. 27.
