Stockings with care

Cleone's Closet Thrift Store in Airway Heights helped spread a little needed Christmas cheer on Tuesday, Dec. 22, by distributing stockings full of goodies to their food bank clients. Kenneth McDowell (above) was one of the recipients, picking up stockings for himself and eight other family members.

Cleone's Closet's Mabel Dunbar said they had more orders for stockings than they could fill. Cleone's Closet's food distribution center is open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from noon – 2:40 p.m.
