Schloss will oversee Cheney STCU branch

Spokane Teachers Credit Union has recently promoted or hired four people to regional manager positions. Each of these managers oversees multiple STCU branch locations.

Included is a new face in Cheney, Brandy Schloss who also oversees STCU’s Moran Prairie and South branch locations. A 10-year STCU employee, Schloss previously managed the credit union’s South Branch.

Schloss is working on her bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership at Brandman University. She volunteers with Reach for the Future, which helps students prepare and pay for post-secondary education.

Sherritt to appear at January West Plains Chamber meeting

The Thursday, Jan. 7 monthly meeting of the West Plains Chamber of Commerce will have as its special guest former Eastern Washington University and current Edmonton Eskimo linebacker J.C. Sherritt.

Sherritt along with many past EWU student athletes and coaches will be present to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the national championship at Northern Quest Resort and Casino. 

Sherritt, a member of the 2010 EWU national championship team, just recently was on the Eskimos’ Canadian Football League Grey Cup Champion team.
