Mason Jar hosts Food Gathering
The community is invited to join Food Flavor Fit at the Food Gathering featuring The Mason Jar, on Wednesday, Nov. 4 from 5 – 7 p.m. The Mason Jar is located at 101 F St. in Cheney.
Food Gatherings are presented by Food Flavor Fit to bring people together to get to experience small businesses that are producing nutritious and flavorful food in the Inland Northwest.
Attendees will get the opportunity to taste food samples, learn nutrition facts and meet owner Douglas LaBar and his staff. The event will also help celebrate The Mason Jar’s third anniversary in business.

WPCC meeting at Marketplace Cheney
The Thursday, Nov. 5 meeting of the West Plains Chamber of Commerce will feature special guest Col. Brian McDaniel, commander of the 92nd Air Refueling Wing at Fairchild Air Force Base and take place at the new Marketplace Cheney from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
McDaniel will offer an inside look at what has been going on at Fairchild, possible plans and where crews will be showing off their Tanker Pride in the future.
The new Marketplace Cheney is located at 1011 First St. in downtown Cheney in the former Gattos Pizza restaurant.
