Cheney volleyball goes 1-1 in Great Northern play

The Cheney High volleyball team had another busy week of competition.

After going 1-1 in Great Northern League action — a win over East Valley, 3-1, Sept. 29, and a loss to Clarkston, 3-1, Oct. 1 — they finished the week with a third-place finish in the silver bracket of the Linda Sheridan Classic volleyball tournament, Oct. 4 played at Shadle Park High School.

Cheney showed strong offense against East Valley. The game scores were 25-22, 25-22, 23-25 and 25-23.
