Emmanuel Lutheran Church

Emmanuel Lutheran Church invites you to worship with us this Sunday, Oct. 3 at 10:30 a.m. You may also watch our pastor’s sermons at our website http://www.emmanuelcheney.org or on YouTube at Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Christian education classes for grade school through adult meets at 9 a.m.

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church

A welcoming haven, nourishing all God’s people in body, mind and spirit.

Holy Communion Sunday at 11 a.m. The Rev. Christine Soule will preach and preside.

Fellowship breakfast is Thursday at 7:30 a.m. Bring a friend and enjoy good fellowship. The choir resumes with practice each Thursday at 6 p.m. Come sing with us.

AA meeting every Saturday at ll a.m. in the parish hall.

Attention all college students: Each Monday at 5 p.m. you are invited to join us for dinner, study and devotions. We are a group of college students and young adults who take our faith journeys seriously, seriously enough to show up and engage in ministry to and with each other. We are not necessarily all Episcopalians and we have no “litmus test” of belief to which you must subscribe. We believe it is important to take the time, in this busy age and culture, to stop, listen and come together for prayer, worship, study and meals.

United Church of Christ

World Communion Sunday is Oct 4. There will be a special communion service at United Church of Christ. Our communion is open to all. Please join us at 10 a.m. A coffee hour will follow in the fellowship hall.

You are invited to all the events at UCC. Choir rehearsal is at 7 p.m. each Thursday in the sanctuary. A social-wellness walking group begins each Thursday at 9 a.m. at the church. All walking levels/paces are welcome.

It is not too early for you to plan your trip to church bazaars at Cheney churches. UCC will offer outstanding items for sale as well as a wonderful hot soup lunch.
