Spokane County crews will be doing road repair work at the intersection of Geiger Boulevard and State Route 902 (Medical Lake Highway) on Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 14 – 15.
According to a Sept. 12 county news release, drivers are asked to watch for flaggers, and expect long delays due to the nature of the work. Other areas of the West Plains undergoing major road construction work is Melville Road from West Terrace Drive to Thomas Mallon Road where city of Spokane crews are installing water and sewer services, and Babb Road where the bridge located approximately 1,000 feet from the Cheney Plaza Road is under reconstruction.
Drivers should also watch for shoulder patching and repair work on Curtis Road from Anderson to Cheney-Spangle roads, pothole patching on Silver Lake Road at Silver Lake and guardrail repair along Cheney-Spangle Road at Curtis Road.
County officials ask drivers to always watch for flaggers and slow down in these work zones.
