Stephen C. Hiatt

Stephen C. Hiatt, 50, passed away in his sleep on Aug. 19, 2015 at his home in Medical Lake. He was born Jan. 30, 1965 in Stuttgart, Ark. He attended Hernando High School and enlisted in the Air Force in 1994. Stephen served 10 years in the Air Force and worked as a long haul truck driver for 17. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and NASCAR.

Stephen is survived by his wife, Carolyn Hiatt; children, Cassandra, Katie and Carl his mother, Kathleen Hiatt; sisters, Debbie Hignite and Lisa Hiatt; brother, Andrew Hiatt. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl E. Hiatt.

Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 28, at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery in Medical Lake. Cheney Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
